Bear Creek Stables in Blythewood, SC announces BYOH (Bring Your Own Horse)
The main Bear Creek Stables facility sits on 22 acres of land. We have developed a pretty substantial trail system on our property.
While we do not have miles and miles of trails, our trails can be very intense and are an excellent location to further you and your horse's skills on the trails. Our farrier commented recently that "if a horse can handle the trails here, they can go anywhere."
Trails are in open areas as well as deep wooded areas. There are small streams to cross (if we keep getting rain) and a creek which has easy access to get your horse into the water. There are also very steep hills that you can navigate.
We also have what we call Confidence Park, another area that you can further your horse skills. Noodles to navigate, calvetties, barrels, blue tarp to get on and a large log to get your horse to step/jump over. We will be adding a stable bridge and a teeter-tater bridge in the near future.
The intent is this is an excellent facilty to further train your horse anf get them ready for LONG trail rides. Get your horse ready at Bear Creek Stables before you go on a big ride and have a long way to go if you have to lead your horse back.
We also offer RV Hookups and a full (NEW) bathroom in the barn.
Please check out our website for further information. www.bearcreekstables.net
BYOH is by appointment only!
